Teresa Foxx is a Director and General Manager of Barclays’ Miami office. Teresa joined Barclays in 1995 as a Director in Internal Audit, based in New York. She assumed her current role in 2004, responsible for the management of the Miami office, comprising money market trading, fixed income sales, corporate banking and front office support functions.

She is the Chair of Barclays’ Miami Compliance and Risk Management Committee, a member of the US Corporate Banking Risk and Governance Operating Committee, as well as, the Business Continuity Management Steering Committee for the Americas.

Teresa has almost 30 years of experience working in the financial services industry. Previous employers include Deutsche Bank from 1994 to 1995 and Credit Lyonnais from 1989 to 1994. She began her career in the Financial Institutions Division of KPMG Peat Marwick in 1985.

She serves on the Board of Directors for the Florida International Bankers Association, the British American Business Council, and the Posse Foundation in South Florida. She was inducted into the YWCA Academy of Women Leaders in November 2007.

Teresa received her master’s in Finance from Fordham University in 1990 and her BBA in Accounting from Hofstra University in 1985. She is a Certified Public Accountant in New York State and has Series 7, Series 24, Series 9 and Series 10 licenses.
