Dr. Edwina H. Bell

Dr. Hamilton Bell is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice. She is the CEO/President of Bell Psychological Services, Inc. located in Broward County, Florida. She is also one of the partners of Positive Solutions Psychological Services, PLLC, a joint venture between Bell Psychological Services and Life Solutions Psychological Services. Dr. Hamilton Bell earned her Doctorate of Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and completed an internship at the University of Miami Counseling Center, where she is staff affiliate. Dr. Hamilton Bell completed her postdoctoral training at the Dependency Court Intervention Program for Family Violence in Miami-Dade County, Florida, where she provided therapeutic services to families whose children were adjudicated dependent due to abuse and neglect. Dr. Hamilton Bell has over 15 years of experience providing therapeutic services throughout the Tri-County area. Through her private practice, she has assessed and treated women and men with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, mood disorders due to general medical conditions, relationship issues, and job related stress, to name a few. Dr. Hamilton Bell also has expertise in conducting evaluations with children identified as gifted, and those with ADHD and learning differences. She has presented to various organizations on topics such as the psychosocial aspects of living with a chronic illness, stress management and depression in the Black community, domestic violence, African-American women and depression, and suicide prevention. Dr. Hamilton Bell is passionate about what she does and is committed to working with individuals, pastors, organizations, and community leaders to promote emotional and psychological well-being. Her mission is to aid in the psychological and emotional healing of men and women across the globe, so that they may live purpose-filled lives.

Dr. Hamilton Bell is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the Mental Health Association of Southeast Florida, the American Psychological Association, New Mount Olive Baptist Church, and the Association of Black Psychologists, South Florida Chapter, where she served as Director of the Continuing Education Program 2003-2007 and currently serves as Secretary.
