Cassandra Sanford

Cassandra Sanford, CEO and co-founder of KellyMitchell, is responsible for talent experts who enable Fortune 100 Clients to achieve their IT, Business and Financial goals by providing a flexible and skilled workforce. Started in 1998, by previous Boeing employees, KellyMitchell has partnered with many Fortune 100 and 500 companies servicing their technology and professional staffing needs on a national level, in all major geographical markets, across all industries. Cassandra has grown KellyMitchell from 3 employees to over 2500; from a local St. Louis company to a national organization with 16 offices throughout the U.S. KellyMitchell most recently has expanded their presence and service offerings into Canada with their Canadian headquarters located in Toronto servicing talent needs in Ontario, Alberto, Quebec, and Saskatoon.

WBENC-certified and a Committee of 200 and WPO member, Cassandra makes a practice of mentoring other women and giving back to her community. She is an active guest speaker for various Entrepreneur courses in the St. Louis area and a member of the Billiken’s Angel Network, an angel investment group. She serves on various local, regional, and national boards including Mercy Hospital, Regional Business Council, the United Way, The Magic House Children’s Museum, Boy Scouts of Greater St. Louis, myEDmatch, (a local start-up), and the Women’s Business Development Center of Chicago. She serves on the advisory board for Manpower Group as well as an advisory board member of FTL Community Investments, whose mission is to finance businesses in under-capitalized communities.

Brothers Executive Scholarship Awardee by WBENC and Bank of America where she attended Harvard Business School’s Women Leading Business program.

Cassandra is a graduate of St. Louis University, she holds a B.A. in Political Science and a J.D. in Law. In addition, she is a licensed attorney by the Missouri Bar Association.
