Heidi Hattendorf is the Director of Employee Performance which is a key part of Talent and encompasses Learning & Development, Performance Management, Mentoring and Skills Based Volunteerism. She leads a global team responsible for developing business aligned programs for employees across the corporation and partners closely with the local teams, HR and businesses. Heidi is passionate about professional development and has been instrumental in leading the transformation of Learning into a completely new blended approach closely aligned to the needs of employees and business leaders. She previously was in leadership roles in the Chief Technology Office and Product Management and now leverages her business experience in Talent. Heidi created and led a company wide program on Idea Management where employees could put forward ideas for development based on their insights with customers and the market. The program was very successful and she was recognized both internally and externally. She was recently named by Diversity MBA as one of the Top 100 under 50 for leadership. She has also been named one of the top 40 Women in Innovation by the Front End of Innovation Council for her work in promoting leadership in Innovation. Heidi has also been featured in the Blue Sky Innovation in the Chicago Tribune as well as had multiple articles published in Wired magazine, Innovation Management SE and Pre-Scouter representing Motorola Solutions. Heidi spent 11 years overseas in Europe living and working in Spain and the UK for Motorola. She ran several large global Product Management teams and significant P&Ls and portfolios around Mission Critical Intelligence. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Business, an MBA with specialization in International Marketing Management. She is bilingual in English and Spanish where she continues to leverage this in business. Heidi has made significant contributions towards STEM through her involvement and leadership in the Women’s Business Council at Motorola Solutions and as a partner with Motorola Solutions Foundation on driving Skills Based Volunteerism.
