Max W. Reed is Vice President of Program Sales at CDW. Max leads the contract sales business unit of more than 110 coworkers supporting $4.5 billion in annual U.S., Canadian, and International Contract Sales in areas including: Proposals; Deal Structuring; Customer and Partner Contract Negotiations; and Post-Award Program Management.
Max joined CDW in 2012 as Head of Inclusion Practices in Human Resources where he served as the primary adviser to company leadership on Diversity, Inclusion, Succession Planning, Talent Management and Strategic Planning. In addition, Max provided counsel to the Chairman/CEO and Executive Council on workforce health and development.
Prior to joining CDW, Max was a Managing Consultant in Business and I.T. Strategy at IBM in the Telecommunications and Energy sectors where he was a business leader in several Smart Energy Systems Integration projects for three of the largest U.S. energy companies.
Prior to IBM, Max served in several leadership roles at AT&T in: Sales; Field Operations; Call Center Operations; Network Operation Management; Systems and Network Design; and Business Operations.
Max earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Studies from Northwestern University, and an MBA in Economics from the University Of Chicago Booth School Of Business.
Max served in the U.S. Navy, with distinction, and is a Gulf War veteran.
Max is a member of the Economics Club of Chicago and the University Club of Chicago.
