The Illinois Diversity Council Announces 2018 Top Business Women in Illinois

The Illinois Diversity Council is proud to announce the 2018 Top 15 Business Women in Illinois, a definitive list of female executives, influencers and achievers impacting various industries in corporate America. Each executive honored with this distinguished award was formally recognized at the 2018 Illinois Women’s Conference on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. This event offered women a venue to learn from and network with many of the top female business leaders in the state of Illinois. The theme of this year’s conference was “Belief and Bravery: Fierce Females Motivating Change.”

The 2018 Top Business Women in Illinois selection was based on the following criteria:

  • Demonstrates a high level of integrity and ethical behavior
  • Demonstrates leadership and commitment to community well-being and/or high visibility in the community
  • Exhibits and demonstrates a commitment to the highest ethical standards and professional excellence
  • Has an established commitment to corporate citizenship
  • Has clout within her organization in terms of significant impact on revenues, profitability, and/or direction of the organization
  • Holds a proven track record of achievements in her area of expertise and contributes to business development
  • Inspiring role model and active mentor to women within the industry
  • Provides leadership excellence in the public and/or private sectors
  • Sustains a record of accomplishments and/or contributions to field of work throughout scope of her career
  • Top leader in her organization and profession
